During my Christmas stay at Quality Inn Near Joint Base Andrews, I experienced a mixed bag of comfort and frustration. The housekeeping staff was exceptional—a warm, dedicated team that quickly brightened up the space. I must echo the sentiment that this hotel is in dire need of a renovation. The remnants of smoke lingered in the air, despite the promise of smoke-free accommodations, and a dirty ice machine didn’t help the overall impression. On the plus side, the complimentary hot breakfast was quite delightful, offering a solid start to the day with eggs and waffles. It was also conveniently located for exploring Washington, D.C. —I recommend making time for the National Mall. While the infrastructure was lacking, the friendly vibe created by the staff, especially the lovely lady at the front desk, makes me feel a glimmer of hope for this place. I guess, like life underwater, it just needs a little cleaning up!
